The municipality of Cluj-Napoca welcomed spring with a special show: 400,000 tulips bloomed in the streets and public parks of the city, transforming it into the "city of tulips". Cluj-Napoca was transformed into a city of spring, thanks to the planting of hundreds of thousands of tulip bulbs in various places around the city. This initiative was launched with the aim of bringing more colour and life to Cluj-Napoca, as well as offering residents and visitors an impressive natural spectacle. Planting tulips is a common tradition in recent years in Cluj-Napoca and this flower is a symbol of spring and the rebirth of nature. A total of 400,000 tulip bulbs in different colours and varieties were planted and bloomed from April to May 2023, creating a particularly beautiful and impressive landscape.
