Savarsin Castle is a property of the Royal Family of Romania, located in Arad county, known for its architectural beauty and historical importance. Recently, the landscape revitalization of the castle estate was carried out by Eco Garden Construct.
The concept and landscape design : Eco Garden Construct developed a landscape plan that respects the history and tradition of the castle, while integrating modern elements to enhance the visitor experience. The design included restoring the historic gardens, adding seating and walking areas, and planting a variety of plants and flowers to bloom in different seasons.
Restoration and preservation of historic gardens : A key part of the project was the restoration of the original castle gardens, preserving historic elements and bringing back to life the structures and plants that were part of the original landscape. This included the restoration of pathways, fountains and other decorative elements in the garden.
Integrating Natural Elements: Eco Garden Construct has placed a strong emphasis on integrating natural elements into the landscape design. Natural materials such as stone and wood were used to create a harmonious and sustainable environment. Native trees and shrubs were also planted to preserve local biodiversity.
Relaxation and Recreation Areas: In an attempt to transform the gardens into a friendly and accessible space for visitors, several relaxation areas have been created, including benches, gazebos and picnic areas. These provide ideal places to rest and admire the surrounding landscape.
Landscape Lighting: Another important aspect of the landscaping was the landscape lighting. Eco Garden Construct installed an ambient lighting system that enhances the beauty of the gardens and the castle, providing a pleasant and safe atmosphere for evening walks.
Eco Garden Construct's landscaping project at Săvârșin Castle not only restored the historical beauty of the estate, but also created a contemporary, accessible and enjoyable space for all visitors. It serves as a model of harmonious integration between heritage conservation and innovation in landscape design.
