Project objective The Feroviarilor Park completed the investments in the development of green spaces and the green-blue corridor along the river Someș, namely the Armătura Park, the banks of the Someș from Grigorescu to the central area, namely the area of the Sports Hall plateau. The objective was to integrate the Someș River into Cluj's alternative mobility and recreation area, offering generous, modern green spaces for movement and recreational activities.

Feroviarilor Park has been developed on a field located close to the city center, in an area in a period of real estate development.
