{"id":4605,"date":"2023-07-03T06:28:18","date_gmt":"2023-07-03T06:28:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ecogardenconstruct.com\/?post_type=portfolio&#038;p=4605"},"modified":"2025-07-28T11:01:44","modified_gmt":"2025-07-28T11:01:44","slug":"inlocuire-integrala-gazon-sportiv-cluj-arena","status":"publish","type":"portfolio","link":"https:\/\/ecogardenconstruct.com\/en\/portfolio\/inlocuire-integrala-gazon-sportiv-cluj-arena\/","title":{"rendered":"Complete replacement of Cluj Arena sports turf"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row row top-row\"><div class=\"vc_column_container col-md-12\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper vc_column-inner\">\r\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element wpb_custom_7c91d232724f73626cc933bd95b25ff0\" >\r\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\r\n\t\t\t<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><b>The following works were carried out:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Decoupling of existing land and storage in the form of rolls;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Uncovering of sandy porous substrate (to a depth of approximately 35 cm) and removal of uncovered substrate;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Replacement of the field heating\/de-icing system (flexible electric field heating cables, field temperature sensors, temperature control thermostats, resistance connection boxes - 6 field resistance connection boxes on the sanded area, located approximately 1m from the tartan covered surface), including recovery of the existing de-icing system - over 36 km\/l of cables;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Laying of a porous sand substrate (0.01mm-0.4mm - 20cm thick, respectively 0.4mm-0.8mm - 11cm thick and peat layer);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Checking the de-icing installation in the field (flexible electric heating cables, connecting cables between resistors and electric panels, temperature sensors in the field, electric de-icing panels in the field);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Checking the drainage system and the irrigation system;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Turf installation and maintenance products covered the entire 7900 sqm of the field, as well as the proper operation and maintenance of the systems, installations, equipment that are designed to maintain an environment with optimal conditions for turf growth.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Maintenance products will also be used for the turf on the slope around the stadium on an area of 5400 sqm.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Technical characteristics of the turf roll required to replace the existing turf:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The combination of seeds - certified with quality certificate, used to obtain the turf rolls was made from varieties of Lolium perenne 30%, Poa pratensis 70%, substrate composition 80% sand, 20% organic matter, turf density 98%.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The turf is mature, minimum age 16 months - maximum 18 months, healthy (no spots), with dense roots, acclimatised, resistant to heavy traffic, dark green colour.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&lt;span&#8221;&gt;Gazonul rulou este dintr-un amestec de semin\u0163e selectate pentru toleran\u0163\u0103 la c\u0103lcare, vitez\u0103 de refacere, rezisten\u0163\u0103 la iernat, toleran\u0163\u0103 la tundere cu \u00een\u0103l\u0163ime joas\u0103, densitate mare.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Gazonul este montat pe substrat nisipos, ultimii 5 cm din substrat au un aport de turb\u0103 \u00een propor\u021bie 1:9 \u0219i care este \u00eembog\u0103\u021bit cu complex de NPK \u0219i substan\u021be minerale necesare sistemului radicular.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The turf is without an intermediate plant sedimentation layer (no touch layer).<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The turf has been delivered in big-rolls with a minimum width of 0.70 m and a variable length between 10 - 18 m. Variations depend on the moisture content of the soil at the time of stripping. The installation was done with special sports turf rollers, attached to the tractor and fitted with turf tyres. The turf roller is at least 4 cm thick (1-2 cm soil layer and 2-3 cm aerial plant part (grass)).<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_row
